The investigators in Thailand, where Australian superstar bowler Shane Warne was found dead, have concluded that he died due to natural reasons.
The police have quoted the autopsy report which has ruled out any possibility of foul play in his death in his luxury villa on the island of Koh Samui where he had gone for a holiday.
The autopsy report is in line with the initial medical observation which has said that he might have died due to a heart attack.
Krissana Pattanacharoen, the deputy national police spokesman in Thailand, said in a statement released to the Press, “Investigators received an autopsy report today in which a forensic doctor concludes the death was due to natural causes." He said that while investigating the case, they didn’t find any sign of violence or forcible intrusion which ruled out the possibility of any foul play.
He added, "Investigators will conclude the autopsy reports and send them to state prosecutor as soon as possible.” Warne’s family members have been informed about the said report.
Surachate Hakparn, who is assistant to the national police chief, said that Warne’s father had told him that he (Warne) was suffering chest pains and was planning to return home for a check-up after this trip.
