Atishi Alleges Centre Took Her Official House; BJP Accuses AAP of Lying

Atishi Alleges Centre Took Her Official House: Delhi Chief Minister Atishi on Tuesday accused the BJP-led Central government of canceling the allotment of her official residence. Atishi claimed the eviction notice was served just a day before the Election Commission announced the Delhi assembly election schedule.
BJP responded by dismissing her accusations as melodrama and an attempt at playing the victim card.
Atishi derided BJP for being distressed at its inability to defeat AAP in Delhi and ending up with single-digit assembly strength. "When unable to form govt, they tried Operation Lotus to buy our members, but failed in that also," she alleged.

“The schedule for Delhi elections was announced today. Last night, the BJP-led central government, for the second time in three months, threw me out of my official residence, which has been allotted to me as being the CM. They cancelled the allotment of the CM residence through a letter and snatched away the residence from an elected CM of an elected government," she added.
Atishi’s cabinet colleague, Saurabh Bharadwaj, echoed her allegations. “This is another example of how the BJP prioritizes political vendetta over governance. They don’t care about education or basic amenities for Delhi residents. All they focus on is disrupting the lives of AAP leaders,” Bharadwaj said.
He further accused the BJP of repeatedly targeting Atishi, saying, “They have once again removed her belongings from the official CM residence. Such actions are unprecedented and unacceptable.”

"Arvind Kejriwal and Atishi stand exposed. They are guilty of political fraud in the eyes of the public," Sachdeva said, referring to public notices issued by the Delhi government distancing itself from announcement by Kejriwal of Rs 2100 per month for women and free treatment of elderly at government and private hospitals under 'Sanjeevani Yojna' after AAP returned to power.
Today, BJP has done something that we couldn’t think of. BJP has once again removed Delhi CM Atishi’s belongings from his official residence. You all must remember when they did it earlier as well. I don't think this would have happened anywhere in the world before.”
