“Ask Pakistanis About the Power of BrahMos Missile”: Yogi Adityanath on Operation Sindoor
According to Adityanath, terrorism is like "dog's tail" that cannot be straightened and, in this crucial time, unity under PM Modi is required to annihilate this terror.

Yogi Adityanath on Operation Sindoor: Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, stated that the real strength of the BrahMos missile was displayed during Operation Sindoor, and those who missed it could ask Pakistanis. Adityanath was talking while Rajanth Singh, the defence minister of India, virtually opened the BrahMos Aerospace Integration and Testing Facility in Lucknow, in the state of Uttar Pradesh.
“What is the BrahMos missile? You have seen a glimpse of the valour of the BrahMos missile during Operation Sindoor. And if the glimpse was not visible, then ask Pakistanis about the strength of the missile,” he was quoted as saying by ANI.

Referring to the Centre’s firm stand against terrorism, Adityanath noted that “Prime Minister Narendra Modi has declared that any incident of terror will be considered a war. And until we completely crush terrorism, there will be no solution to this problem. The time has come to crush it and for this, entire India, in one voice, has to unite under Modi's leadership.”
Adityanath claimed it was a moment for unity under PM Modi to eliminate terrorism, and there is no better time to eradicate terrorism.
The BJP leader described terrorism as a persistent problem stating that "Terrorism is a 'dog's tail,' which can never be made straight."
“Terrorism will not follow the language of love. We have to give a reply to it in its own language. And in this direction, India has given a message to the world through Operation Sindoor,” he added.
Operation Sindoor
Operation Sindoor, conducted on May 7, was India's response to the April 22 terror attacks Jammu and Kashmir's Pahalgam that left 25 Indian nationals and one Nepali citizen dead from an attack in a famous meadow.

The operation began with India destroying its intended targets, nine terror training camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). The BrahMos missile strikes then reportedly killed approximately 100 terrorists in just 26 minutes, according to an earlier report from Hindustan Times. Although official figures are yet to be issued by the government, the number was shared by defence minister Rajnath Singh in a briefing to opposition leaders, sources said that attended the meeting. The sites were selected on the basis of credible intelligence and due to the camps’ prior involvement in terrorist activities.
Tensions between India and Pakistan ran high after the strikes and there was heightened shelling from both the sides across the borders. The Indian Armed Forces responded in kind, tightening security around the borders. Power blackouts were imposed in vulnerable areas during Pakistani attacks for the safety of civilians.
The Indian Air Force said on Sunday that the IAF had “successfully carried out its designated missions during Operation Sindoor,” achieving key strategic objectives. The IAF also said that the operations are “still ongoing.”
This update comes a day after India and Pakistan agreed to a ceasefire “understanding” to immediately halt all military activity on land, sea, and air.
