ASI shot Odisha's health minister as soon as he got down from the car, hospitalized in critical condition

Odisha's Health Minister Naba Das has been fatally attacked. He was shot by a policeman near Gandhi Chowk, after which he was seriously injured and has been admitted to the hospital.

The minister was attacked near Brajrajnagar in Jharsuguda district when the minister was on his way to attend a program at Gandhi Chowk. Reacting to the incident, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik said, "I am shocked at the unfortunate incident of this attack." I strongly condemn this and wish him a speedy recovery. The crime branch has been directed to investigate. Senior officers of the Crime Branch have been asked to go to the spot. An eyewitness, Advocate Ram Mohan Rao, who was present at the spot, said that when they came, the mob went to pick them up, including some security personnel. At the same time a voice came and the police officer ran from the crowd. He also fired while running away. We thought that the person who killed him had fired for him.
