State minister Pratap Singh Khachariyawas, while sharing the information, claimed that Gehlot is not resigning. Asked whether Gehlot would file his nomination for the post of president, he said only the chief minister and the central leadership were aware of this fact. Meanwhile, the name of veteran leader Digvijay Singh is being discussed for the post of President, as he left the Bharat Jodi Yatra midway to go to Delhi.

Party sources said that Digvijay Singh will reach Delhi on Wednesday night and he is also likely to meet Congress President Sonia Gandhi on Thursday.
