Arvind Kejriwal receives recovery notice of ₹164 crore, sent by Delhi government's own DIP secretary
The Chief Secretary was also ordered by the LG to inform the Election Commission about this entire matter. Last month, the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi, alleging political propaganda in the guise of government advertisements, directed the Chief Secretary of Delhi to recover from the Aam Aadmi Party the expenditure incurred on advertisements in 2015-2016.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has received a recovery notice of ₹164 crore. The DIP Secretary of Delhi Government has sent this recovery notice. Along with this, it has been asked to deposit Rs.164 crores.
If ₹164 crore is not paid in 10 days, then the AAP office can be sealed as the property of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). In the order of the Lieutenant Governor, under which the DIP has issued the recovery notice, it was said to attach the property along with legal action.
First on December 19, the LG had ordered the Chief Secretary to take action in this matter. It was said in that order that if the party does not pay within the stipulated time, then the property of the party can also be attached along with legal action. The Chief Secretary was also ordered by the LG to inform the Election Commission about this entire matter. Following the instructions of the Lieutenant Governor, the Directorate of Information and Publicity of Delhi Government has issued this notice.
