Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann will held a roadshow in Ahmedabad on Saturday. Both AAP leaders are on a two-day visit to Gujarat. Assembly elections will be held in Gujarat in December. Gujarat AAP general secretary Manoj Sorathia said on Friday that we are calling the two-km roadshow as 'Tiranga Yatra'.
The road show will include the areas of Ahemdabad like Nikol and Bapunagar. About 50,000 people, including all prominent party leaders from across the state, will participate in it. In the wake of vandalism outside Kejriwal's Delhi residence a few days ago amid protests, AAP's Gujarat unit has asked Ahmedabad Police Commissioner Sanjay Srivastava to make additional arrangements for the security of the two leaders.
BTP President and MLA Mahesh Vasava met Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. AAP leaders Gopal Italia and Ishudan Gadhvi had met BTP national president and MLA Chhotubhai Vasava at his private residence last week. His son and party's state president Mahesh Vasava met Chief Minister Kejriwal in Delhi. He was accompanied by BTP vice-president Paresh Vasava.
