Arvind Kejriwal Alleges CBI Raid on Manish Sisodia’s House: Political Vendetta or Legal Action?
Just two days after that prediction, Kejriwal sped up his own prophecy concerning the arrest of Delhitte Chief Minister Atishi, while issuing warning of raids against a few of his AAP counterparts ahead of Delhi Assembly elections.

Arvind Kejriwal Alleges CBI Raid on Manish Sisodia’s House: Arvind Kejriwal, former Delhi Chief Minister, claims sources told him regarding an impending Central Bureau of Investigation raid on senior AAP leader Manish Sisodia. The allegation comes only days after Kejriwal asserted that Delhi's Chief Minister Atishi would be arrested on trumped-up charges and warned of much more raids before the Assembly elections in Delhi against other AAP leaders.
"I had said a few days ago that Delhi CM Atishi ji would be arrested and some AAP leaders would be raided. According to reliable sources, there will be a CBI raid on Manish Sisodia's house in the next few days. The BJP is losing the Delhi elections. These arrests and raids are the result of their frustration," he said.

Manish Sisodia, a key AAP figure and erstwhile Deputy Chief Minister, has faced prior scrutiny on criminal charges primarily surrounding the now-withdrawn excise policy for liquor in Delhi. A raid on Sisodia's residence was carried out in August last year by the CBI in the case which is under investigation. Subsequently, he was arrested, a move that AAP said was a "witch hunt".
He got out of jail after 17 months of his arrest, and AAP has now fielded Sisodia from the Jangpura Assembly constituency for the polls to the Delhi Assembly. On several occasions, the Arvind Kejriwal-led party has blamed the saffron party for the misuse of central agencies to victimize and jail opposition leaders.
Last month, Arvind Kejriwal said," Delhi Chief Minister Atishi shall soon be arrested in a false case regarding transport." Kejriwal asserted that the BJP was rattled with the announcement of welfare initiatives like the Mahila Samman Yojana and Sanjeevani Yojana.
Addressing a press conference with Atishi by his side, Kejriwal claimed that the ED, CBI and the Income Tax department had recently held a meeting. "Orders were received from the top to conduct an arrest against the Chief Minister and search senior AAP leaders", he added.

"As per sources, recently there was a meeting between CBI, ED and I-T, and they have been asked to arrest Atishi by fabricating any false case against the Chief Minister," Kejriwal said.
The party also accused the BJP of distributing money in the New Delhi Assembly to sway voters against anyone without considering who they would be voting for, be it Kiran Bedi or Kejriwal, since both are contesting elections from the New Delhi constituency.
Kejriwal also stated that the BJP was involved in such tampering under a scheme called "Operation Lotus" by tampering with the voters' list in Delhi. He said that the BJP-engineered this scheme on December 15 to meddle in the upcoming assembly elections.
"In my New Delhi Assembly constituency, Operation Lotus has been active since December 15. Applications to delete 5,000 voters were submitted in the past 15 days. Additionally, applications to add 7,500 voters have been filed. Manipulations are taking place in 12 per cent of the votes," Kejriwal said.
