Arrested Bureaucrat On Son’s Death During Raid said

In Chandigarh, the son of an IAS officer died due to bullet injuries. The deceased has been identified as Kartik Popli. He was the son of IAS officer Sanjay Popli. Sanjay Popli has accused the police of murder. He alleges that the police shot his son in front of his eyes, while the police is calling the whole matter a suicide.

Karthik Popli was arrested by the police in a corruption case. A person living in the neighborhood of Popli said that the police team had come to the accused's house to investigate the matter. During this time this incident happened. 

Sanjay Popli has accused the investigating officers on this whole matter. He said that the police shot my son standing in front of me. I am an eyewitness to the entire situation.

The surveillance team was at the arrested officer's home today to conduct a raid during which they confiscated various gold and silver coins, cash, cell phones and other electronic devices. The bureaucrat's spouse instructed the media that the vigilance officers forced them to offer fake statements that could help their case.
