Arrest warrant issued against Bollywood Sonakshi Sinha

A warrant for arrest has been issued against film actress Sonakshi Sinha in a fraud case related to the allegation of not attending the event with money. The court of ACJM-4 in Moradabad, UP has issued warrants to Sonakshi Sinha and her advisor Abhishek Sinha for their continuous absence. The next hearing on the matter will be on April 24.

On 22 February 2019, a case was registered in Moradabad, UP against 5 people including Sonakshi Sinha under sections 420 and 406 of IPC for grabbing lakhs of rupees. Event manager Pramod Kumar Sharma had filed this case at Katghar police station.

According to complainant event manager Pramod Kumar Sharma, he had invited Sonakshi Sinha at the India Fashion and Beauty Awards in 2018. 29 lakh 92 thousand rupees were paid to come to the program but Sonakshi Sinha did not reach. According to Pramod Kumar Sharma, he was also threatened for not taking legal action.
