The AIKSCC has appealed to all its state units to set up joint programs with large mobilization of a huge number of farmers and rural folks so that pressure can be put on the government to withdraw the three farming laws and electricity bill 2020.
The Prime Minister has said that these three new laws of farming fulfill the long-standing demand of farmers, "to increase income", "to give new rights and new opportunities",. and this statement dashed the hope of the farmers that the government will address their problems and concerns seriously.
It shows that the government is still claiming that it has to create awareness about the benefits arising from the farm laws, while the farmers are clear that these laws are only at their cost to benefit corporates.
All 30 organizations of Punjab, AIKSCC, and other farmer organizations say that they have taken the right decision by categorically rejecting the request of Union Home Minister Amit Shah to visit Burari to meet them.
Farmers think that the government is trying to create confusion by doing all these measures. Hence they say that they have taken appropriate decisions by rejecting the conditional talks and keeping the doors open for any serious efforts by the government in this direction.
The AIKSCC Working Group has praised the clarity in farmer organizations' decision and has appealed again to the Government of India not to see this problem as a law and order problem and not to involve intelligence departments and the Home Ministry.
Farmers from various states are here in Delhi to achieve the same objective and their strength is continuously increasing. They have no other demands. They want to insist that the government fully understand the impact of these laws. Every protester is clear and articulate about this.
Farmers say that those who don't understand this protest are the Prime Minister, his cabinet minister, his officials, his experts, and his advisors.
