Another achievement in the name of self-reliant India, successful test of 5G era at IIT Madras
The Ministry of Railways will fully support the Hyperloop initiative. The 5G test bed has been developed jointly by eight organizations. It has been prepared under the leadership of IIT Madras.
5G call was successfully tested at IIT Madras on Thursday. According to news agency ANI, Union Information Technology and Communications Minister Ashwini Vaishnav successfully tested 5G calls at IIT Madras. He did this trial by making a video call on the 5G network.
Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said that we are proud of the team at IIT-Madras that has developed a 5G test pad that will provide a huge opportunity for the entire 5G development ecosystem and Hyperloop initiative.
Piyush Goyal had said that the country has transparently gone from 2G/3G to 4G and now 5G. 5G technology will help digitize the economy, boost the startup ecosystem, improve governance, ease of living and do business and business in the country.
