The qualifying round of Asia Cup 2022 has started from 20 August 2022. But the main round will start from 27th August. This time this tournament is being played in UAE. For this, all the major five teams have also announced their squads. Squads from India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Afghanistan have surfaced. Hong Kong, Singapore, Kuwait and UAE are taking part in the qualifying round. These four teams will face each other on a round robin basis and a total of 6 matches will be played. After this, the team topping the table will qualify for the main round and will be directly drawn into Group A along with India-Pakistan. There are already three teams in Group B as Afghanistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.
