Amravati Chemist Murder: Murdered Umesh Kolhe had posted a post related to Nupur Sharma in a WhatsApp Group , Amit Shah involved

The murder of chemist Umesh Kolhe in Amravati, Maharashtra, and the murder of tailor Kanhaiya Lal Sahu in Udaipur coincides to some extent. Kanhaiya Lal (Tailor Kanhaiya Lal) was killed by the killers by attacking him with knives in his shop and also made a video of this incident. Kanhaiya Lal also shared the post supporting Nupur Sharma. Umesh Kolhe was murdered in Amravati last month. Amravati Police says that Umesh Kolhe had shared a post supporting the suspended BJP leader Nupur Sharma, who made a controversial statement on Prophet Mohammad, on the WhatsApp group. Muslims were also members of this group. Now, this case is on the instructions of Union Home Minister Amit Shah.

MHA has handed over the investigation of the case relating to the barbaric killing of Shri Umesh Kolhe in Amravati Maharashtra on 21st June to NIA.

The conspiracy behind the killing, involvement of organisations and international linkages would be thoroughly investigated.

Local BJP leaders had alleged that the police were trying to hide the facts related to the motive of the murder. Quoting the police officer, PTI reported, "Kolhe used to run a medical store in Amravati city. He had shared a post supporting Nupur Sharma on a WhatsApp group. There were some Muslims in that group, some of whom were his customers. Were." On June 21, when Kolhe was returning home after closing his shop, he was strangled to death by two motorcycle-borne youths around 10 pm. His 27-year-old son and wife were following behind in another vehicle. After this murder that happened 12 days ago, the police have arrested 6 people so far, but till Saturday morning it did not believe that the murder was related to the support of Nupur Sharma.

Mahesh Kolhe, brother of Umesh Kolhe said, "My brother forwarded some messages about Nupur Sharma in some Whatsapp groups but we're not able to understand why was he killed because of 2-4 forwarded messages? He didn't forward them to anyone individually.

Senior police officer Vikram Sali said under heavy pressure, "The accused told that they killed Kolhe for posting about Nupur Sharma." Tushar Bhartiya, BJP leader in Amravati district said, this incident happened on June 21. Had this thing spread on a large scale on June 22, Kanhaiya Lal might not have been murdered in Udaipur.
