Woman dies after falling from ride at amusement park in southwest Delhi; FIR registered
Woman Dies After Falling from Amusement Park Ride in Delhi: A 24-year-old woman died after allegedly falling from a roller coaster ride at an amusement park in southwest Delhi's Kapashera, an official said Saturday.
The deceased, Priyanka, is said to have fallen off the amusement park ride on Thursday evening, added the police in a statement.

Visible on the body of the deceased are ENT bleeding, lacerated wound on the right leg, puncture wound on the left leg, and abrasions on the right forearm as well as the left knee, among others, he added.
Priyanka was taken to Manipal Hospital by her friend Nikhil with the pronouncement of her demise by doctors, a senior police officer said.
MLC intimation regarding the incident was received at Kapashera police station, following which an investigating officer visited the hospital and collected the medical report.
"Visible injuries on the body included an ENT bleed, a lacerated wound on the right leg, puncture wound on the left leg and multiple abrasions on the right forearm and left knee," the officer said.

Nikhil, in his police statement, said he and Priyanka had gone to Fun and Food Village and got on the roller coaster ride at around 6:15 pm on Thursday. He said that Priyanka fell off during the ride.
Based upon the complaint and preliminary findings, an FIR has been registered under Sections 289 and 106 of the BNS, an officer said.
Post-mortem of the deceased has been conducted and body has been handed over to family members, as per the latter.
Further investigation is going on to ascertain the real sequence of events and accountability for the incident, police said.
