Farmers are protesting on different borders of Delhi with some of their other demands. Meanwhile, Sanyukt Kisan Morcha, which is leading the farmers' movement, has called an important meeting on 4th December. This meeting will be held on the Singhu border, in which a decision will be taken regarding the future and strategy of the movement.
In this meeting, any decision can be taken on whether to send five names to the Center regarding the continuation of the agitation to the formation of a committee on Minimum Support Price (MSP), although the farmers organization has not received any formal message from the government.
In this meeting, the pending demands of the farmers will also be considered in the meeting. Farmers' organizations are demanding that the Minimum Support Price (MSP) of crops should be made legal, the government should withdraw the cases against the farmers during the agitation, as well as compensation to the families of the farmers who lost their lives during the agitation.
The Samyukta Kisan Morcha has written an open letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on November 21, placing its 6 demands, although no response has been received from the government so far. In such a situation, SKM believes that they are waiting for an official reply from the government, only after which a decision will be taken regarding the movement.
