At present, BJP has set its eyes on West Bengal as it is trying its level best to woo the people of the state. Its focus is to highlight the weakness of the present government of Mamta Banerjee so that it can brighten its own chance to rule the state.
Sources reveal that by coming December 5, the BJP has set its target to reach crores of homes through its campaigning.
As West Bengal is getting for the assembly election in 2021, BJP doesn't want to leave any stone unturned to garner support. Sources say that the Union Home Minister Amit Shah will visit the state every month. Party General Secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya is already visiting here continuously.
Sources say that to counter the biggest outreach program of the Trinamool Congress-led government, the BJP has planned a new programme. Through this, the party will reach more than one crore families. During this time the BJP will also highlight the alleged corruption of the Mamta government.
The West Bengal BJP President Dilip Ghosh says that BJP workers will also reach more than one crore families on 5 December on the lines of the programme run by the Mamata Banerjee government.
The program is named Noi Anyaay (no more injustice). He also says that BJP workers across the state would visit homes and distribute leaflets to highlight the corruption of the TMC-government. It will also tell people how people were denied facilities offered under various central schemes such as Kisan Samman Nidhi and Ayushman Rozgar Yojana.
On the other hand, Sobhandeb Chatterjee, a minister and senior TMC leader in the Mamta government, has said that this is one of the biggest outreach programs undertaken by any state government. Already 5.4 lakh people have come to the camps within two days to avail the facilities of the state government. This has upset the BJP.
