Chauth Mata is considered to be the main goddess of Hinduism. She is a form of Mother Parvati. One of the oldest temple of Chauth Mata is situated on a peak of Aravalli hill in Chauth Ka Barwada village of Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan. This temple was established by Raja Bhim Singh in 1451. This 568 year old temple is built at a height of 1000 feet. Devotees have to climb 700 steps to see this. There is also a discussion in the village that Vicky-Katrina will come to see the mother after getting married.
In this temple, married women pray for the protection of their husbands. Worshiping Chauth Mata gives blessings of unbroken good fortune and happiness in married life also increases. After marriage in the surrounding villages, the newly married couple goes to the mother's court and seeks blessings.
It is believed that without the darshan and blessings of Chauth Mata, the marriage ceremony is not considered complete. A short distance from this temple is the Six Senses Fort, where Vicky and Katrina are going to tie the knot.
