Weather Update : Heavy rain warning in Mumbai

Due to heavy rains in Mumbai, waterlogging has been seen in many areas. Even reports of landslides have come to the fore from many districts of the state of Maharashtra. Roads were flooded due to heavy rains in Mumbai and its suburbs last night and this morning due to which people are facing problems. Here the Meteorological Department has once again issued a warning of heavy rain. Mumbai and its adjoining areas witnessed waterlogging at many places due to heavy rains on Tuesday, slowing down train and vehicular movement. The new Chief Minister of Maharashtra Eknath Shinde checked the situation.
Chief Minister Eknath Shinde is in touch with the collectors of Thane, Raigad, Palghar, Ratnagiri and Sindhudurg districts, the Chief Minister's Office said in a statement.
