Delhi Police issued a traffic warning on Saturday October 23, 2021 and advised Delhi residents to avoid Mathura Road from the Badarpur Ashram due to ongoing construction work on the Ashram's underpass. Due to the ongoing construction work of the Ashram Underpass, the Mathura Road from the Ashram to Badarpur is damaged and under repair. Only one channel is operational. To avoid traffic jams, commuters are advised to avoid this route.

It added, "Vehicles approaching Ring Road from Sarai Kale Khan searching for to show left in the direction of Badarpur are counseled to take C V Raman Marg-Mathura Road or Ashram flyover-Capt. Gaur Marg-Modi Mill flyover for Badarpur." Delhi Police additionally informed, "Likewise, site visitors on Mathura Road from Nizamuddin searching for to go Ashram for Badarpur are counseled to show proper and take Capt. Gaur Marg-Modi Mill flyover for his or her onward journey."
