Ruchira Kamboj, India's Permanent Representative to the United Nations and Chair of the Anti-Terrorism Committee, said at the meeting in Delhi, “As different technologies become cheaper and more readily available, terrorists can use new technology for different purposes.'
External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar also attended today's meeting. Speaking on the occasion, he said, "Our current tenure in the Security Council has seen terrorism become one of the top priorities, and that is why the Council is organizing this special meeting of its Counter-Terrorism Committee in India."
In the special meeting of the Anti-Terrorism Committee in Delhi, External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar said, "You all have been here in Delhi today for this special meeting of the CTC which reflects the focus of the member states of the UNSC on the important and emerging aspects of terrorism."
