Britain's Finance Minister Rishi Sunak and Health Minister Sajid Javid resigned on Tuesday, putting Prime Minister Boris Johnson's government in crisis. Sunak said in his letter that he " They were sad to leave the government", but came to the conclusion that "we cannot continue like this." Rishi Sunak said in his resignation letter, "The public rightly expects that the government will be conducted correctly, competently and seriously. I agree that this may be my last ministerial post, but I believe that These standards are worth fighting for and that is why I am resigning."
Health Minister Sajid Javed said he had lost faith in Johnson's ability to govern in the national interest after a series of scandals, adding that he "can no longer be with him." He said many lawmakers and the public had lost faith in Johnson's ability to govern in the national interest. "I regret to say that it is clear to me that this situation will not change under your leadership and therefore you have also lost my confidence," Javed said in a letter to Mr Johnson.
The rebellion against the leadership of British Prime Minister Boris Johnson is being considered a big bugle. Recently there have been two by-elections, in which the Conservative Party has to face defeat. Since then, the voices of opposition started emerging among the ministers. Sunak's resignation is being considered as a big setback for PM Boris Johnson, he was once considered to be Johnson's successor, but his image was deeply dented after the Partygate scandal even if there are no further resignations in the government, the discontent in the ruling Conservative Party against Boris Johnson does not seem to stop for the time being. Earlier, Johnson tried to apologize for the latest case involving a sexual misconduct complaint against one of his ministers. This move of these two has increased the difficulties of PM Johnson who is already surrounded by crisis.
Some Conservative Party ministers are in support of Boris Johnson and want to remain in the government. These include Dominic Rabo, Liz Truss, Brandon Lewis, Priti Patel, Quasi Quartengo, Nadine Doris, Jacob Rees-Mogg, Anne Marie-Trevelyan, Simon Harto, Ben Wallace, Chris Heaton Harris, Alistair Jack. At the same time, the stand of Michael Gove, Nadim Zhavi, Therese Coffey, Penny Mordaunt, George Eustis and Grant Shapps is not clear about this yet. Lord Frost, who resigned from the post of Brexit minister from the UK government last year, has given his response by tweeting in this matter.
