Two people found infected with a new variant of Covid in Israel

Two cases of the new corona variant have been found in Israel. According to the Ministry of Health of the country, information about a new variant of Covid has been received during the PCR test. He said that two passengers who arrived at the Ben Gurion airport were tested for PCR. In which it has been found that the presence of two sub-variants ba.1 and ba.2 of the Omicron variant has been found in the present strain.

Israel's Ministry of Health has told that this variant of Covid is unique in itself. No case of this has come to light so far. Also, he said that the passengers found jointly infected with BA.1 and BA.2 are suffering from mild fever, headache and muscle pain. Apart from this, no more serious symptoms have been reported in them so far due to which they do not require any special medical response.

Israel's pandemic response chief, Salman Zarqa, said there is no need to worry about new cases of infection. He said that everyone is aware of the circumstances regarding the combined variant. We don't need to worry about this right now.
