Two Girls Playing Holi In Metro Goes Viral, DMRC says "video shot inside the metro also appears doubtful," Investigation going on
Two Girls Playing Holi In Metro Goes Viral: A viral video showing two women applying color to each other's cheeks while a Hindi film song plays in the background has been published by the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC).
As part of its investigation into the authenticity of the video, the DMRC said, "On first impression, the authenticity of the video shot inside the metro also appears doubtful," raising the possibility of deepfake technology being used.
In an ongoing investigation for policy violations, the DMRC investigates a viral video of women celebrating Holi inside the metro, doubting its authenticity. Girls in traditional clothing apply colors intimately.
As 'Ang Laga De' plays in the background, the girls, wearing traditional clothes, put colors on each other in an intimate manner. DMRC is assessing whether the video violates any of its policies.
Passengers were urged to report any such filming immediately. "We also request fellow passengers to inform us immediately if they see such shoots being conducted," the DMRC said.
This activity is discouraged within the DMRC network, according to the company. A statement said that we have conducted numerous campaigns and commuter awareness drives to educate passengers about refraining from making reels or engaging in anything that inconveniences fellow commuters.
