Berger Paints
India second second-largest paint company, MD & CEO, Abhijit Roy reported that it plans to double its revenue to Rs 20,000 crore by FY29 from Rs 10,000 crore in FY24.
JSW Steel
The steel manufacturer reported that it plans to buy a 66.67% economic stake in M Res NSW HCC for $120 million along with an extra $50 million in cash for payment in 2030 as deferred consideration.
IRFC
The public sector company reported its net profit stayed the same at Rs 1,576 crore against Rs 1,551 crore the previous year. The company revenue rose by 14% to Rs 6,765 crore against Rs 6,673 crore in a year ago period.
Vodafone Idea
The Indian telecom company reported that it recorded a net loss in the first quarter ending on June 2024 to Rs 6,432 crore against Rs 7,674 crore in the corresponding period last year because the company finance cost went down.
ONGC
ONGC reported that the Petroleum and Natural Gas Ministry agreed to the allocation of gas made from new wells or well interventions in nominated fields of E&P companies such as ONGC and Oil India.
The gas produced could be sold at a 20% premium over the administered price mechanism (APM price) or the domestic natural gas price.
RCF
The fertilizer and chemical manufacturing company reported that its net profit rose by 84% to Rs 10.8 crore in the first quarter from Rs 68 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
The company revenue also went up by 8.7% to Rs 4,396 crore, against Rs 4,043 crore last year. However, EBITDA went down by 10.4% to Rs 115.8 crore along with a margin of 2.6%.
Hindustan Copper
Hindustan Copper reported that its net profit went up to Rs 113.4 crore in the first quarter against Rs 47 crore in a year ago period.
The company revenue also increased by 33% to Rs 493.6 crore, from Rs 371 crore last year. EBITDA went up from 22.4% to Rs 188.3 crore, with a profit of 38.2%.
Wipro
Wipro reported that the company's Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Subha Tatavarti has resigned from the post for opportunities outside of IT companies.
Subha Tatavarti in her resignation letter said, “I am resigning from the post of CTO, Wipro effective August 16th. Good luck with your journey.” Due to this on Monday, August 16, there will be no working day for Wipro.
Campus Activewear
The sports and athleisure footwear company reported that its net profit went down by 19.4% to Rs 5.4 crore in the June quarter from Rs 31.5 crore a year ago period.
The company revenue declined by 4.1% to Rs 339.2 crore, against Rs 353.8 crore last year. EBITDA went down by 21.8% to Rs 51.8 crore along with a margin of 15.3%.
