Pakistan makes repeated attempts to incite terrorism in Kashmir, but they have to face the Indian security forces every time. A similar effort was made on Thursday as well.
Six terrorists, including three Pakistani terrorists, have been killed in encounters in Kashmir in two days. All three Pakistani terrorists killed in the Baramulla encounter on Wednesday were related to Jaish-e-Mohammed. A jawan of Jammu and Kashmir Police was also sacrificed in this encounter.
The slain terrorists are yet to be identified but a huge quantity of arms, ammunition and incriminating material have been recovered from the encounter site. Confirming the killing of all three terrorists, IG Kashmir Vijay Kumar said that the killing of these terrorists immediately after the infiltration is a big success. He also congratulated the army and police for this.
Police sources say that these terrorists had infiltrated into Indian territory from Jumagund village adjacent to the Line of Control at night. When some people of the village saw suspicious activity outside the village, they informed the police. The police also without wasting time started searching for the terrorists along with the army personnel. At one place, a face-off between terrorists and security forces started. Firing started from both the sides. The security forces asked the terrorists to lay down their arms but they continued the firing.
