'The Kashmir Files': Vivek Agnihotri gets 'Y' security with 100 crores

Vivek Agnihotri, director of 'The Kashmir Files', has been given 'Y' category security with CRPF cover across India by the Ministry of Home Affairs.

This step was taken by the Ministry of Home Affairs after the director had claimed threat to his life on the release of his film. In his new film 'The Kashmir Files', director Vivek Agnihotri has told the story of the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits from the Valley. This film has been in a lot of discussion since its release.

The film earned an estimated total of Rs 95.50 crore at the domestic box office. With the collections coming from international markets, the film has crossed the Rs 100 crore mark.
