The suspended head constable posted in the police line of Kanpur Dehat district and released from jail on bail also threatened the CUG number of Fatehpur SP by abusing the stream, not once but repeated it several times. The SP's PRO has filed a case against HCP in the matter.
According to SP's PRO Rajendra Singh Chauhan, he had the CUG number of Superintendent of Police Rajesh Kumar Singh late on Friday night. On a call on this, suspended head constable (HCP) Rajendra Singh Chauhan, posted in the police line of Kanpur Dehat district, said that there was no force relative to the standard in the treasure guard. On this, the PRO asked Veer Kulwant, the constable of Police Line's Police Lines Inspector and Enumeration Office, to complete the manpower of the force by giving the mobile number of the caller.
Even after this, the caller kept threatening to kill him by abusing the constable and PRO by calling from different numbers. On being asked the name, HCP told Rajendra Singh Chauhan. On this, the PRO has filed a report against the accused head constable Rajendra Singh Chauhan in Sadar Kotwali under the section of threatening and obstructing government work. CO City Veer Singh said that the search is on for the accused head constable Rajendra Singh Chauhan. He will be arrested soon.
Kotwali Inspector Amit Kumar Mishra and Hariharganj outpost in-charge Vivek Kumar Singh raided the house of accused head constable Rajendra Singh Chauhan in the lime street of Krishnanagar Hariharganj, but he was not found. The outpost in-charge said that it is estimated that the suspended head constable has called from the Kanpur police line while on duty.
According to the police, the accused head constable was abusing religious slogans near the house on March 19, 2022. On the objection of the local residents, he had fired from a licensed double barrel gun, due to which 15-year-old son of neighboring cosmetic shop Chandraprakash Gupta, Mayank and 18-year-old daughter Vartika were injured due to shrapnel. Mayank was admitted to LLR Hospital Kanpur after he was shot in the back. Police recovered the gun from the constable and sent him to jail. Three months later, on June 2022, he was released on bail from the High Court.
