Tata Motors will increase the price of its commercial vehicles from July 1, 2022
Tata has achieved a significant increase in the sales of commercial vehicles. Last year Tata sold 9371 commercial vehicles but this year this figure reached 31,414.
Tata Motors, the largest commercial vehicle maker in India, has announced an increase in the prices of its commercial vehicles. From July 1, 2022, the prices of various commercial vehicles of the company will be increased by 1.5-2.5%. The scope of the price hike will be based on the individual model and variant.
The company has been taking various measures to meet a significant part of the input cost at various stages of production on its own, but now due to the sharp increase in the overall input costs, it has become necessary to increase the price of the vehicles. The company has endeavored to balance its input cost by way of minimum price addition.
The company claims that they have taken the decision to increase the price in view of the increasing input cost at different levels. Even before this, Tata had increased the prices of commercial vehicles on 1 April 2022 as well. The company had increased the prices of commercial vehicles by 2 to 2.5%.
Tata has a significant share of commercial vehicles in the domestic market. Compared to the previous year, Tata has achieved a significant increase in the sales of commercial vehicles. Last year Tata sold 9371 commercial vehicles but this year this figure reached 31,414.
