Swiss Open 2022 : PV Sindhu wins Swiss Open 2022 women's singles title

PV Sindhu has won the Swiss Open 2022 women's singles. Sindhu defeated Busanan Ongbamrungphan of Thailand 21-16, 21-8 in straight games. In the men's singles final, HS Prannoy of India had to face defeat. He was defeated by Jonathan Christie of Indonesia 21-12, 21-18. Prannoy reached the final after a long time, but could not raise the level of the game in the title match.

The whole country is feeling proud on this victory of PV Sindhu.Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated PV Sindhu. Congrats Sindhu on her victory in the Swiss Open 2022 women's singles. This is PV Sindhu's second title in Basel, where she won her maiden World Championship title in 2019. This is also the second title of the 2022 season for Sindhu after winning the Syed Modi India International in January.
