PV Sindhu has won the Swiss Open 2022 women's singles. Sindhu defeated Busanan Ongbamrungphan of Thailand 21-16, 21-8 in straight games. In the men's singles final, HS Prannoy of India had to face defeat. He was defeated by Jonathan Christie of Indonesia 21-12, 21-18. Prannoy reached the final after a long time, but could not raise the level of the game in the title match.
