Supreme Court Ultimatum to center over Tribunals: ‘Testing Our Patience’
Chief justice NV Ramana said, We are upset, but we do not want confrontation with the government. To which Solicitor General Tushar Mehta replied, Government does not want confrontation either.
On Monday, the Supreme Court hit the government over a large number of vacancies in tribunals across the country. Chief Justice RV Ramana declares we feel the government has no respect for this court and warned you are testing our patience. The court issued a notice which gives them a week to make the appointments to the government.
