Strong performance of Aam Aadmi Party Youth Wing against inflation
The Aam Aadmi Party workers were sitting in the police station till 4 in the afternoon. Dheeraj Rao, Vikas Nehra, Mona Siwach, Naveen Ohlayan, Advocate Arun, Parikshit Jun, Navneet Saini, Yogendra Kaushik, Sonu Sisodia, Sonu Malik, Deepak Kataria, Kapil Yadav and Harvinder were present on this occasion.
Aam Aadmi Party's youth wing demonstrated vigorously on Ferozeshah Road on Thursday against rising inflation. Thousands of youths reached Delhi under the leadership of Aam Aadmi Party Youth Wing State President Arun Hooda. As per the pre-determined route, the AAP workers were to protest till Shastri Bhawan, due to the deployment of heavy police force, the AAP workers were arrested a short distance away from the Ferozshah Road. After hours of struggle, Aam Aadmi Party workers were forcibly arrested and taken in buses and kept in police stations till late evening.
State President of Aam Aadmi Party Youth Wing Haryana, Arun Hooda said that inflation has broken the back of the general public. Just yesterday, the price of cylinder increased by ₹ 50. The Modi government has made the life of the Aam Aadmi Party very difficult. Aam Aadmi Party will vigorously protest against inflation across the country.
All the intelligence of the police failed to stop the protesters. The police appeared helpless in front of the enthusiasm of AAP workers. Before the protest, all the youth wing workers came to meet Haryana Aam Aadmi Party in-charge Dr. Sushil Gupta. To stop them, the police cut off the lights there and blocked them by putting up barricades in front of the gate. Section-144 was invoked. Despite this, thousands of AAP workers came out from there and proceeded towards Shastri Bhavan and on the way the police took them into custody.
The police arrested the Aam Aadmi Party workers and kept them sitting in the police station for hours. On the other hand, Aam Aadmi Party Youth Wing State President Arun Hooda said that AAP workers had earlier sought permission for peaceful demonstration, the administration did not give permission. Dictatorship will not be tolerated.
