According to information received from sources, DGCA is investigating this incident. However, regarding this incident, SpiceJet says that there was a slight delay in the arrival of the buses. But after the bus arrived, all the passengers (including the passengers who had started walking on the tarmac) were taken to the terminal by putting them on the bus.
A statement issued by the airlines said that despite repeated requests from our staff, some passengers started walking towards the terminal. He was barely able to walk a few meters till the coach arrived. As soon as the bus arrived, all the other passengers, including the passengers, were put on the bus and taken to the terminal building. Only last month, aviation regulator Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) had ordered SpiceJet to operate maximum 50 per cent of the approved flights for the summer for the next eight weeks in view of several incidents of technical snag. The DGCA had on July 6 issued a show-cause notice to the airline over at least eight incidents of technical snags in the aircraft.
