Two bombs exploded in Somalia's capital Mogadishu. At least 100 people have died in this blast, while 300 people have been injured. The country's President Hassan Sheikh Mohammadi issued a statement on Sunday morning giving this information. These massive blasts took place in the area where several government offices, including the Ministry of Education, are located.

According to Somalia's national news agency, police spokesman Sadiq Dodishe said two car bombs had exploded. A hospital staff counted 30 bodies till Saturday. The al-Qaeda-linked al-Shabaab group often targets the capital, Mogadishu.
Hassan Usman, a volunteer at Medina Hospital, said, "Most of the at least 30 dead people brought to the hospital are women. Amen Ambulance Service said they have taken at least 35 injured people to the hospital.Abdirajaq Hassan, who was 100 meters away when the attack, said the first blast happened on the perimeter wall of the Ministry of Education, where street vendors work. An Associated Press reporter at the scene said the second explosion occurred in the afternoon in front of a busy restaurant.
