Shraddha Walkar Murder: Aftab Poonawala's Polygraph Test begins, Aftaab Might Have Had Another Accomplice Who Aided In Brutal Killing
Aftab Poonawala to undergo pending polygraph sessions today
The polygraph test of the Shraddha murder case accused Aftab Amin Poonawala started in a short while. He has been brought from Tihar Jail to the Forensic Science Lab (FSL) at Rohini on Monday morning. Aftab's 3 telegraph tests have been done. The first Test took place on 22 November. This was followed by 24 and 25 November. According to PTI, 40 questions have been asked to Aftab so far. After completion of all the tests, there will be a narco test on December 5.
It is being claimed in media reports. It is being said in the reports that a person had supported Aftab in killing Shraddha. Delhi Police suspect that this person also helped Aftab in destroying the evidence. At present, the police are collecting information about it. However, it is not known on what basis he made this theory.
It is being said in many media reports that Gujarat Police arrested a drug peddler Faizal Momin. He has claimed that he used to supply drugs to Aftab. Whether Aftab used drugs or not. This will also be included in the investigation.
Aftab is currently in Tihar Jail. Media reports quoting jail sources claimed that Aftab would remain alone in cell number 4 of the jail. The source said that there will be only one prisoner in the separate cell and he will not be removed from this cell soon. Food will be given to Aftab only in the presence of the police. A guard will be stationed outside his cell for 24 hours. There are 8 CCTV cameras installed here. With these cameras, the accused will be monitored for 24 hours.
According to Hindustan Times, Aftab had already rehearsed the polygraph test. An officer said that it seemed as if Aftab knew in advance what kind of questions would be asked. He is answering some questions very bluntly, but keeps silence in questions related to murder or starts lying.
