Shraddha Walkar Murder: 13 days judicial custody of Aftab: When Shraddha's pieces were kept in the fridge, he dated a psychologist and brought her home
Aftaab met the woman through the mobile dating application Bumble, the same platform where he had first met Shraddha. The Delhi Police have contacted the woman, who is a psychologist, they said.
There is a new revelation in the Shraddha murder case. According to media reports, the accused Aftab had dated a doctor after Shraddha's murder. He met this girl through the dating app Bumble and invited her to his house when Shraddha's body parts were kept in the fridge. Delhi Police has identified that girl. He is a psychologist by profession. Aftab and Shraddha also met on the Bumble app.
According to the news agency PTI, the court has sent Aftab to judicial custody for 13 days. Earlier Aftab was taken to Ambedkar Hospital. He was produced in a Delhi court through video conferencing from the hospital itself. Special CP Law and Order Sagarpreet Hooda, Delhi Police had appealed to the Magistrate that the production of the accused should be done from the hospital itself.
Important evidence has been found against Aftab in the Shraddha murder case. According to media reports, forensic investigation has revealed that the bones recovered from the forest belong to Shraddha. His DNA has matched with Shraddha's father. Now the police are waiting for the reports. Special CP (Law and Order) Sagar Preet Hooda said that the DNA test report (of the victim's parts) has not been received yet.
Here, Shraddha's father Vikas Walker has demanded a CBI inquiry. During an interview with a news channel, he said – Aftab is still misleading the police and there should be a CBI inquiry into the matter. He kept blackmailing Shraddha continuously and kept threatening her. He used to tell Shraddha in clear words that he would kill her.
He said- Aftab's family is also involved in this. Aftab's parents were aware of his antics. They knew that Aftab used to fight with Shraddha. They should have informed me about this but nothing happened. He claimed that Aftab's family was also involved in the murder.
