Mannat, currently shared between Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan, is far more than a residence for the couple; it symbolizes a common dream for building a home for themselves, a home with their own aspirations and a success story. Over the years, Gauri, a top-notch interior designer, has lovingly transformed it into a lavish and aesthetically curated residence. In November last year, she filed an application with the MCZMA to add two further floors to the Mannat annexe as an extension of even further grandeur to their family home.
The suspected extend renovation would take nearly two years, with the Khans expected to shift meanwhile to Pali Hill. According to Hindustan Times, Shah Rukh Khan's production house Red Chillies Entertainment has signed a leave-and-license agreement with film producer Vashu Bhagnani's son Jackky Bhagnani and daughter Deepshikha Deshmukh for four floors in the luxurious residential society Puja Casa. While the home is not a match to Mannat in size, it offers facilities that suit Shah Rukh and the family's requirements, including those of Khan's security and staff. Reportedly, the rent for the property is ₹24 lakh per month.

King is the eagerly awaited film of King Khan that is currently being readied by director Siddharth Anand. SRK and Anand are super happy with the film and are gearing up to start the shooting in March 2025. The high-budget project is expected to have a shooting schedule of six to seven months, with multiple locations internationally. The filmmakers want to create a visual treat and have scheduled a theatrical release in 2026. Possibly the biggest highlight is the inclusion of SRK's daughter Suhana Khan on the big screen along with her father for the first time, lifting the expectations sky-high from the audience as well as from the industry.
During the passage of renovations, thousands of SRK fans will continue to congregate outside the iconic gates of Mannat daily. Glimpses of his superstar will now remain confined to their temporary abode in Pali Hill until the completion of the brilliant expansion work on Mannat, which is expected to be a glorious structure reflecting Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan's dream home.
With a great lineup of films to work on and the expansive transformation of his iconic residence, 2025 would be an unforgettable year for Shah Rukh Khan, both personally and professionally.
