Along with this, the cabinet has also approved the opening of gyms and cinema halls. On the other hand, the cabinet has also decided that if the employee of the new pension scheme dies while in service, then he will get all the benefits like an employee of the old pension scheme.
In another decision by the Cabinet, the minimum family pension will now be Rs 9000 instead of Rs 3500. The Cabinet has also approved the Governor's budget address in the Vidhan Sabha. Approval has also been given to fill eight posts of Sub Fire Officer on contract basis in Himachal Pradesh. Some all fire offices will also be opened. Permission has also been given to open sub-fire station at the south end of Atal Rohtang tunnel.
