Salman Khan recently said during an event that a show host should be sensitive to his audience. The actor was asked whether the host should be careful about jokes. All the guests including Varun Dhawan and Manish Paul also supported his views. He shared his views just hours after Will Smith slapped comedian Chris Rock at the Oscars.
Talking to Salman, when asked if the host should care a little about jokes, Salman said, "As a host, you have to be sensitive. Jokes should always be in limits, not outside limits."
Maniesh Paul, who often hosts reality shows and even hosted Salman Khan's DaBangg Tour, said they try to "push the envelope" but sometimes things get tricky. "Before, humor was khul ke (open) and now things have gotten tricky... Every time I've been on stage, I haven't offended anyone. It all depends on your sense of humor," said he said, adding that it's an artist's duty to check what the writers have written in the script.
