Sagarpur police in South West Delhi arrested mobile snatchers
The police team of Sagarpur police station in South-West District has arrested two desperate robbers namely 24-yer-old Mohit Rana and his 34-year-old lady accomplice and recovered one robbed mobile phone from their possession.

“A complainant alleged in his statement that on 29.01.22, after his night duty, he was going home, at about 6.00 AM and as he reached nearby Aggarwal Sweet Corner, Sagarpur, he noticed that one boy & one girl were following him,” Gaurav Sharma, DCP, South West District, New Delhi, said.
He added, “After some time, the boy came behind him and he caught his neck and choked his throat. In the meantime, the girl snatched his mobile and thereafter both fled away from the spot. After some time, he narrated this incident to his brother and he came to the police station to get an FIR registered.”
Immediately, a team from Sagarpur police station comprising Inspector Balram, Constable Manjeet and Sunil led by inspector Sube Singh, SHO/Sagarpur under the close supervision of Daleep Singh, ACP/ Delhi Cantt was formed to track the accused and solve the case.
Each member of the team was assigned specific tasks to trace the culprits. On the perusal of CCTV footage, it came to know that one lady & one boy came on foot and they choked the complainant’s neck and snatched the mobile phone of the complainant and ran away from the spot.
On the perusal of CCTV footage, the boy was identified as Mohit Rana. Further on 29.01.22, on a tip-off from the accused Mohit Rana robbed mobile phone was recovered from his possession. Further on 30.01.22 on the instance of accused Mohit Rana, his lady accomplish was also arrested and both the accused were sent to judicial custody.
