Safdurjung Enclave Police station in South West District arrested a petty criminal

A police team of Safdurjung Enclave showed prompt action against a person who was involved in multiple cases of petty crimes such as mobile snatching, auto lifting etc.

During patrolling scheme #OperationSatark vehicle checking was done by the staff of police station Safdarjung Hospital comprising of Sub Inspector Narinder Sehrawat, Assistant Sub Inspector Subh Karan, Head Constable Kanhaiya Yadav and Constables Pushpender, Rajender & Net Ram supervised by ACP VKPS Yadav, under the leadership of Insp. Shailender Tomar, who is the SHO of Safdurjung Enclave Police Station at Ring Road.

During this checking, one person namely Sanjay Yadav, 35, resident of Laxmi Bai Nagar, was stopped for checking the HONDA STUNNER Motorcycle he was riding was found stolen from the area of P.S R.K Puram.

“From his possession, 2 mobile phones i.e. Techno orange colour stolen and Spare parts of Mobile REDMI Gold Colour both snatched from the area of police station S.J Enclave, have also been recovered which he disclosed that he has stolen and snatched from Safdurjung Hospital and Rose Garden service road respectively on January 29 and January 12 respectively,” Gaurav Sharma, DCP, South-West District, New Delhi, said.

Accused Sanjay Yadav is an active Bad Character (BC) of Police Station Sarojini Nagar, South West District New Delhi and previously involved in 3 cases of snatching and robbery.
