Record increase in Omicron cases in last 24 hours, total 360 cases in the country

There has been a record increase in Omicron cases in the country in the last 24 hours. On Thursday, 84 new Omicron infections were confirmed in the country. This is the highest number of infected found in a day. The total number of Omicron infected found so far in the country has gone up to 360. The same 114 Omicron patients have been cured. Omicron has not reported any death in the country so far.

On Tuesday, 44 new Omicron infected were found in the country. The maximum number of 33 new Omicron cases were found in Tamil Nadu on Thursday. While 23 cases were registered in Maharashtra and 12 in Karnataka. In the last 24 hours, 6,650 new cases of corona have been registered in the country and 374 people have died. According to health ministry data, 140.31 crore vaccine doses have been administered in the country so far.
