Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal Head for ‘Love and War’ Shoot, Alia Bhatt Absent

Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal: Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal are all set to start shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next, Love and War. One of the most awaited films of 2026, the romantic drama also stars Alia Bhatt. On Monday morning, Ranbir and Vicky were spotted at the Mumbai airport together, leaving for the shoot. But Alia was nowhere to be seen.

Ranbir kept his airport look simple but cool, wore baggy jeans with an oversized jacket. He had a backpack on his shoulders and sunglasses and mask. Though he didn’t stop for the cameras, he was quickly rushed by his team and the airport staff as he made his way to the exit.

Vicky Kaushal surprised everyone with his new look. He was seen in beige baggy pants with an olive green shirt, sunglasses and a cap. But what caught everyone’s attention was his new mustache which he wore with confidence. Unlike Ranbir, Vicky smiled and posed for the paparazzi before entering the airport.

In the new video shared by a paparazzo on Instagram, both Ranbir and Vicky were seen inside the airport as they left Mumbai for the shoot of the film. Vicky has been sporting a new look for the film with a moustache as seen in his recent pictures with Katrina Kaif during Karwa Chauth. He was dressed in beige baggy pants with an olive green shirt. Ranbir wore a blue jacket over a black tee and loose track pants.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love and War is the second film of Sanjay Leela Bhansali with Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor. Earlier it was announced that Love & War will release on Christmas 2025. The release date was recently pushed from Christmas 2025 to March 20, 2026. The film was announced in January 2024. The original announcement on Instagram read, “We Bring You Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Epic Saga ‘Love & War.’ See You At The Movies Christmas 2025.” The plot is still under wraps.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Alia have collaborated after Gangubai Kathiawadi in 2022. Alia won the National Award for Best Actress for her performance in the film. She was last seen in Vasan Bala’s Jigra which flopped.
