Rahul Gandhi calls PM Modi a coward, BJP rakes up Nehru's legacy
Congress leader has alleged that the Prime Minister has given away Indian territory to China.
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has called Prime Minister Narendra Modi a coward who gave away Indian territories to China.
Gandhi alleged this in a press conference at the Congress headquarters in Delhi.
The BJP quickly counterattacked and said that Rahul Gandhi should ask his grandfather (Jawaharlal Nehru) about who has given India’s territory to China.
While addressing the press conference Gandhi alleged that the Defence Minister sheepishly made a statement that Indian troops are now going to be stationed at finger 3.
“Finger 4 is our territory. That is where our post used to be. Now we have moved from finger 4 to finger 3. Why has Prime Minister Modi given up Indian territory to the Chinese,” he questioned.
Gandhi added, “This is the question that needs to be answered by him and the defence minister.”
Gandhi also asked that why Indian troops after their hard work in capturing Kailash ranges have been asked to move back.
“What has got India in return for this. And most importantly the more important strategic area Depsang Plains. Why has the Chinese not moved back? These are the real questions. Why have they not withdrawn from Gogra and Hot Springs?” Gandhi asked.
He said that it is very clear that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has bowed his head before China and has given Indian territory.
“This is 100 per cent cowardice. The Prime Minister is a coward who cannot stand up to the Chinese. That is the fact. He is betraying the sacrifice of our army,” Gandhi alleged.
In a counter-attack, Mos Home G Krishan Reddy said that Rahul Gandhi must ask his grandfather about who has given India’s territory to China.
“The public knows it all who is a patriot and who is not,” Reddy said.
