Pressure on India to open Wheat Export

There is increasing international pressure on India regarding wheat exports. After European countries, now America has also urged India to reconsider the decision. This issue is also expected to come up in a special meeting of the G-7 countries on Wednesday. India has also been invited to participate. On the other hand, it is clear from India's stand that it will take care of diplomatic interests in the matter of wheat export.

On Tuesday, US Representative to the United Nations Linda Thomas Greenfield said, 'We have received information about the ban on wheat exports from India. We would urge every country not to take such a step. This will increase the crisis at the global level.
