President Ram Nath Kovind's addressing both the houses in the Central hall

The Budget Session of Parliament began today i.e. from January 31 with President Ram Nath Kovind addressing both the Houses in the Central Hall. The President mentioned the Corona epidemic at the beginning of the speech "This is the third year of the epidemic caused by the Corona virus".

During the speech, the President saluted the freedom fighters and said, "Today, when India celebrates the Amrit Mahotsav on 75 years of its independence, India's resolve inspires confidence. I extend my heartfelt greetings to every Indian from the Central Hall of Parliament. I bow to the fighters, who gave top priority to their duty and gave India its right.

The President thanked the health care workers and frontline workers during the speech, "The challenges in the difficult times of Corona have inspired the countrymen to achieve their goals at the earliest. Honorable Members, the Corona pandemic has affected the whole world and In India too many of our loved ones have been snatched from us.In these circumstances, from the center to the states, all our governments, local government and administration, doctors, nurses and health workers, scientists and entrepreneurs have all worked as a team.
