Premanand Maharaj Seen Riding Porsche in Viral Video: The video of the revered religious leader Premanand Maharaj zipping away in a plush Porsche has gone viral on social media. The guru was seated inside a sleek black Porsche, and at the same time he greeted a stretch of followers lining the road as he zipped by.
Among his followers are the likes of Indian cricketer Virat Kohli and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma; hence all the more curious to know about this enticing viral clip. The duo has been spotted at his Nainital ashram a couple of times, even with their children, just so they can receive the guru's blessings.

Different users posted the minute-long video across other social networks, and the preacher is pictured taking the luxury ride as his aides and policemen ran along the vehicle to ensure that it wasn't obstructed.

The video has drawn mixed reactions from the social media world; some curious ones are asking how a spiritual leader would preach simplicity yet travel in such a lavish manner.

Followers clarify
But many others, self-proclaimed followers, clarified that he often uses the cars the devotees offer him when he travels to make it more convenient. "That is not his Porsche but one of his followers porsche who is giving him a lift," wrote one of them.
Another devotee added that that is the reason the preacher was seen driving in different cars because he was offered rides by his followers. "That car doesn't belong to Premanand ji. Devotees offer their cars just for him to sit in. Check the number plate—plus, the car changes every day," he said.
A smorgasbord of other comments thronged the comment section as netizens defended the preacher, claiming he does not lead a life of luxury and lives his teachings of simplicity and positivity.
