Prashant Kishor also predicted the imminent electoral defeat of the Congress in the elections to be held in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh. Elections in both the states are due later this year. It should be noted that the Congress had to face defeat in the assembly elections held in UP, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Assam and Goa. The Congress was in talks with Prashant Kishor after the recent election defeat in these five states. However, Prashant Kishor later refused to join the Congress party last month.
