Poland Duda Meets Friend Donald Trump in New York: As Donald Trump, the Republican presidential candidate, and Polish President Andrzej Duda met each other at the Trump Tower property in Manhattan on Wednesday in New York, they both discussed a wide range of issues including raising NATO defense funding and also matters related to the Russia-Ukrainian war and Iran-Isreal war.
Trump appreciates Polish President Duda for his excellent job and also calls him his friend. He further added, “We’re behind Poland all the way."

In the meeting, President Duda suggested that the NATO nations should increase their defense funding by 3% of GDP although Trump previously posed such remarks that the NATO nations should increase their defense spending.
According to Trump's campaign, “They also discussed the war between Russia and Ukraine, the conflict with Israel in the Middle East, and many other topics having to do with getting to world peace.”
Congress is holding up a bill that would have provided new funding to Ukraine worth $95 billion (€88.8 billion).
Duda said after their dinner that it was “a friendly meeting in a very nice atmosphere."It was two and a half hours of meeting.
