PM Modi visit Nepal : Our relationship with Nepal is unique, PM's message ahead of Lumbini visit tomorrow on Buddha Purnima

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will reach Lumbini, Nepal on a one-day visit on May 16 on the occasion of Buddha Purnima. From here he will give the message of world peace to the world. During the Lumbini visit, PM Modi will be conferred an honorary doctorate by the Buddhist University. He will become the first Indian Prime Minister to receive this title. On Sunday, PM Modi tweeted that the civilizational and people-to-people contacts between India and Nepal form the enduring building of our close ties. Our relationship with Nepal is unique.

PM said that I look forward to meeting him again after our fruitful discussions during PM Deuba's visit to India last month. We will continue to build on our shared understanding to expand cooperation in many areas. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is coming to Lumbini on Monday, will inaugurate the Indian Math after special worship at the Mahamaya Devi Temple. He will spend six hours at Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Gautam Buddha. During this, he will address about five thousand people in the International Auditorium Building.
